helloPOLY was founded in Melbourne by people who've spent years inside this community: running its events, building its spaces, living it. We made helloPOLY because every other option asked us to shrink ourselves to fit. So we stopped editing, and built the thing that didn't exist.
Every home has an origin. Ours started with two people, a Melbourne community, and a question nobody else was answering.

Most apps are built around the match. helloPOLY is built around the community. Connection that lasts comes from belonging somewhere, not just matching with someone. Dating is part of it. So are events. So is the simple fact of being somewhere you don’t have to explain yourself.
Consent is the ground we stand on.
Respect and consent aren't a safety feature here. They're the foundation everything else is built on, and the reason this community holds together. How you connect is up to you. That it's always consensual isn't.
