Hello, POLY.
(And hello again, PolyFinda.)
Update 1 June 2026 · helloPOLY · 2 min read
A note on the name, for anyone wondering what just happened.
If you’ve been here a while, you might have noticed something change. The app you knew as PolyFinda is now helloPOLY. Same home. Same people. New name. And a lot of care poured into what sits underneath it.
So let’s clear up the obvious question first: helloPOLY is PolyFinda. Not a replacement, not a reboot, not a different company that bought the name. It’s the same community we’ve been building since 2017, grown up and rebuilt better. If you found your people here as PolyFinda, they’re still here. Nothing you were part of went away.
So why change the name? Because PolyFinda was about finding. It was us, helping you find your people. And that mattered. But the more this community grew, the more it felt like the wrong way round. This was never really about us finding anyone. It’s about you walking in and making the first move on your own terms.
helloPOLY is that first move. It’s the thing you say when you step into a room where you don’t have to explain yourself. We’re not finding you anymore. We’re handing you the opening line. The rest is yours.
The rebuild is more than a name. We’ve spent this stretch making the whole thing better. The app, the events, the way the community fits together, all so the home matches the people in it. There’s more coming, and this is where we’ll talk about it: product updates when there’s something to tell you, and stories from inside the community when there’s something worth sharing.
If you’re new here, welcome. This is a dating, events, and community platform for people who connect on their own terms. If you’ve been here since the PolyFinda days, welcome back. The name changed. The home didn’t.
Say hello.
